After reading an article like this one (“Do We Need This Animal Called ‘BPEL4People’?”), I get more and more curious, why every wheel needs to re-invented again, and again, and again. The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) already defined a reference model for workflows. And BPEL is nothing else than a workflow description language. What’s wrong with WfMC? Why do we make the same mistake again, and again, and again?
Maybe I should download the old Wings title from iTunes to learn more…
